This October, DC Walls is activating a unique mini-experience at the Union Market District as part of the "Room Service" motel takeover event. From October 9-20, a curated group of artists from around the globe will join us to create a fully immersive art installation.
Building on our foundation as the local chapter of the World Wide Walls Family, DC Walls is taking over a motel room to present a pop-up exhibition and a live art mural activation. This intimate setting will offer a new way for the public to engage with the art and process of our featured artists.
Curated and directed by artist Kelly Towles, DC Walls has been a force in the DC art scene since its founding in 2016. This year's expands our reach and vision with our "Room Service" activation will be a perfect reflection of this new frontier in public art. We are excited to bring a fresh, creative experience to the Union Market community.
